Our first fundraiser of the year took place last Saturday at the Hallgarth Social Club in Blaydon. The Fundraising Night was a sell out with all 250 tickets sold and was hosted by Metro Radio’s Brian Moore and our Development & Fundraising Officer Amanda Tweedy.

With entertainment from Evolution Dance Crew and North East trio North Road, there was also a raffle with fantastic prizes and an Auction run by Auctioneer Ian Silcock. A disco followed with fantastic light show and sound, all audio visual was free of charge thanks to Sean Havery of Electric Nite Entertainment.

Amanda was delighted to announce at the end that it was expected £4,700 was raised from the evening and thanked everyone including all of the Event Committee for their hard work and dedication in putting on another fantastic event.
