Hi, my name is Chloe Hammond.

I am charity Ambassador at Heel & Toe Children’s Charity and have been coming to the charity for therapy since they opened in 2008.

Here is my blog, hope you enjoy reading.

Being an Ambassador for Heel and Toe means a lot to me because I have attended the charity since the very start in 2008. I have been an ambassador for Heel and Toe for just over a year now and within this time I have experienced some new opportunities such as writing my first ever speech and giving it on stage at our charity ball in 2018.

Also in 2019 as part of the Global’s Make Some Noise fundraising compare I got to do interviews with radio presenters, Amanda Holden, Jamie Theakston and JK from Heart Radio and Steve Colman from Smooth Radio. Not only were the interviews an exciting opportunity for me, but they were very important because it was a way to widely spread awareness of the charity. For example, Heart Radio Breakfast with Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden has 4.6 million weekly listeners nationwide.

I like to help people with similar circumstances to me because it is important to spread awareness of disability. I like to share my disability on YouTube. I have my own YouTube channel and a vlogging channel. Please follow me.

On the 24th of February I am going to have Scoliosis Spinal Fusion Surgery and I am going to try my best to upload as much as possible to my vlogging channel. This is mainly so that people can see what the post surgery/recovery process is like.

Chloe’s Operation

On the 24th February Chloe will be heading to James Cook Hospital for Spinal Fusion Surgery. The surgery will fuse Chloe’s curved spine in an attempt to correct her posture. The operation is lengthy and recovery will be painful but Chloe is very confident that the operation will be a positive change for her and she is looking forward to sharing her journey with you all.

Chloe will be filming and ‘vloging’ about her surgery, before and after. Subscribe to Chloe’s Youtube Channel for updates.
