An Uncle and Grandad of an incredible little boy are currently taking on the challenge of a lifetime to raise much needed funds that will pay for his therapy.
Charlie Todd is 3 years old and has cerebral palsy which affects his movement and mobility, so daily tasks are a real challenge for him. Charlie attends Heel & Toe Children’s Charity to receive sessions of conductive education therapy which help with his condition. The charity is not government funded and needs to raise £500,000 every year to continue providing this therapy to children like Charlie.
This is why Bill and Chris Todd are currently canoeing on the Yukon River in Canada, paddling from Whitehorse to Dawson City covering 400 kilometers. They are hoping to raise £2,000 which will pay for vital therapy to help little Charlie.
We wish them all the luck in this event.
