Our Cycle team of 11 riders have just returned from their grueling challenge cycling from the Heel to the Toe of Italy to raise vital funds for us.
The team started at Bari, Italy cycling for 4 days in 42 degrees heat until they finally reached Sicily.
The team consisted of; Dave, Doug, Paul, Julie, Peter, Lucy, Stephen, Simon, Jonathan, Darren and Mark.
Day 1 – total 187 km cycled
Day 2 – total 141 km cycled
Day 3 – total 166 km cycled
Day 4 – total 146 km cycled
The team exceeded mountains which were 3’630 ft in height over a distance of 15 km.
