How Is Heel & Toe Funded?
Heel & Toe is a local charity that receives NO government funding yet provides over 12,000 hours of free therapy each year to children with physical disabilities across the North East.
Money raised also helps subsidise children’s physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language and special educational needs tutoring.
We are open and honest about our fundraising and work tirelessly to raise funds to pay for free conductive education, subsidise other therapies and closely with businesses and parents to ensure children get all the therapy they need.
What Are Therapy Charges?
We work with you to cover the complete costs of the additional therapies your child needs. Heel & Toe commits to a minimum of 33% contribution to EVERY child that we help. We give you the tools and support you to cover the rest of the charges. Some families decide to cover the therapy charges themselves while some fundraise. All funds raised by you are assigned directly to your child.
PLEASE NOTE:
We are currently at full capacity with a long waiting list and therefore are not taking any further assessments at this point in time.
