Cerebral Palsy – First Steps For Phillip
Last year we introduced you to 9 year old, Phillip Scott with an insight into ‘A Day in the Life of Phillip Scott‘. This video showed us what life is like for Phillip (who has cerebral palsy and other medical conditions) and how he copes on a daily basis.
Phillip travels to Heel & Toe Children’s Charity in Pelton on a weekly basis, so he can meet with his therapist and take part in conductive education therapy sessions. These sessions are not available on the NHS, which is why Heel & Toe Children’s Charity provides conductive education sessions free of charge.
Watch the amazing moment…
We are so proud to be able to show you some exclusive video footage of Phillip as he takes his very first steps on our adapted treadmill.
Phillip is doing so well in his therapy sessions, but without your donations and support the charity cannot continue to provide this lifeline to children across the North East region. Every penny raised for Heel & Toe, goes to providing therapy to children with cerebral palsy and other physical disabilities.
Phillip and his family are looking forward to helping to fundraise for our #footprintsappeal which will see us raising money, to renovate a derelict building in Perkinsville and turn it into a state of the art therapy centre with Hydrotherapy Pool, Charity Shop and much more.
