On Sunday 14th May over 50 children dressed up as their favourite Superhero to walk raising money for Heel & Toe Children’s Charity.

The weather was ideal as the children lined up in their costumes to have their faces painted by Naomi Austin just before setting off around Riverside Park, Chester-Le-Street, County Durham.

It was amazing to see a whole crowd of miniature versions of Spiderman, Wonder Woman, Batman, Thor, The Hulk and many more!

The children had a lovely warm up from Julie from Juno Events and some Superheroes from True Dreams Inclusive Party and Events.

It is our absolute pleasure to announce the event raised £12,000 in total! All proceeds will go directly to providing vital therapy to children with disabilities and complex needs in the North East of England.

Well done to everyone who took part in the event, who volunteered and who provided services on the day. Our children had a fantastic time and can’t wait to do it all again next year!
