Our kids and families have a great passion for dogs. Not only are they great company but dogs make great therapy for children with complex needs and are even trained to assistant children and young adults with disabilities.
With this in mind we’ve teamed up with the National Trust at Gibside to hold our first sponsored dog walk. The 2 mile sponsored dog walk will take place on Saturday 23rd August at 6pm and each dog will receive a special ‘doggy bag’ and a rosette.
We have exclusive use of Gibside gardens for this event and will hold a private picnic on the avenue and joining us to entertain the children will be a face painter and balloon artist. There will also be a tombola and you can even have a portrait of your dog done by a professional artist.
Registration for this event is £10 which covers your entry into Gibside. We ask for a sponsorship pledge of £50 and all funds raised go directly to providing free conductive education therapy to children with cerebral palsy and other physical disabilities in the North East and surrounding areas.

Help us make this event become an annual event and #supportlocal.
