Cestria Diners Club

Michael Baker, Cestria Diners Club presenting cheque to Natalie Harker, Heel & Toe Charity Fundraiser

Cestria Diners Club was set up in 2012 by a group of lads from the Chester-le-Street and surrounding areas with the aim of visiting and sampling local food establishments throughout the course of the year. This later extended to organising an annual charity event where all profits from the event are given to a nominated charity for that year.

This year, Heel & Toe were the nominated charity, and on New Year’s Day, a capacity attendance at the Chester-le-Street Catholic Club was entertained for over seven hours with a variety of activities to include local singers and a local magician.

Proceeds from the day along with donations from the Catholic Club and Diners Club itself amounted to £575.00.

Present Chairman of the Diners Club, Mick Baker said;

“We are delighted this year to support such a worthwhile organisation in Heel & Toe, who provide a marvelous service for children in the region with cerebral palsy, and gain satisfaction that this donation will be used to help in the continuation and development of those services”.

Thank you to Cestria Diners Club and Chester-le-Street Catholic Club for their support.
