Paediatric Physiotherapist Wanted
Please take a look at the new post currently available and get in touch.
Post Advertised: 26/07/2017.
We are looking for a highly motivated paediatric physiotherapist to join our dynamic and expanding therapy team at Heel and Toe Charity in County Durham. Heel and Toe provides therapy to children with neurodevelopmental disorders, musculoskeletal and respiratory conditions.
You will be required to assess and treat children and young people from across the North East Region, aging from 0-19 years with a wide range of conditions. The post will be based largely in our specialist treatment centre in County Durham but you will be required to undergo community work in homes and schools.
We are currently looking for a band 6/7 physiotherapist that can work up to 24 hours per week. However, these hours are flexible. This is an ideal opportunity for someone to progress their career, and to work within a dynamic and passionate team to help children and families achieve their goals.
We work closely with our on-site MDT, focusing on joint goals with speech and language therapists and conductors. We currently provide weekly on-going therapy and block therapy programmes, and will be expanding to a brand new therapy centre providing hydrotherapy, rebound and block therapy. This is a permanent position.
We also have associate self-employed positions for anyone who wishes to work on an ad-hoc basis. This would suit people working privately, currently in the NHS or retired.
An excellent remuneration package is offered NHS bands, pension, on-going training and development.
Anyone interested can contact Doug Long by email doug@heelandtoe.org.uk for further details or submit a current CV.
