Disability Multi Sports Day Was A Success

On Saturday 14th July one of our all time dreams came true, as we joined in partnership with Smile Through Sport CIC to deliver a range of disability sports to children across the North East region.

The collaboration came about through talks with Rachel Miller – Managing Director of Smile Through Sport as it was clear to us both, that there were no multi sports events in the North East that cater to children with disabilities.

Special Guest Appearance

The kids were so excited when Paralympic Medalist – Matt Wylie MBE joined us for the day, even getting  into the pool with the kids, to encourage their swim session.

With a wide range of sports available to try on the day, there were lots of options and they loved every minute.

We believe that early intervention into sports and exercise is key to a healthy lifestyle and a budding career in sport too!

We look forward to organising the next event and hopefully introducing more disability sports to children in our region.
