An Occupational Therapist (OT) is a qualified health professional. The role of the OT is to work with children who have difficulties with the practical skills necessary for their everyday life. An OT aims to enable your child to be as independent as possible with everyday activities at home and nursery/school.
Our therapists are trained to provide specialist assessments and therapy to identify the causes of your child‘s difficulties and to help your child overcome these to achieve their full potential.
At Heel & Toe we employ specialist OT’s who have lots of experience working with children with additional needs. Our OT’s are trained in various treatment methods including Sensory Integration.
